The shapes discuss the latest news,
tension between the blessed garden of chatter and an eternal twist.
The shapes just met but have known each other for years.
Bare for morning’s sake and the opinion of the sun,
the shapes are never naked because they have each other to fight with, and laugh with.
This body of work is hand cut pieces of birch wood painted with gouache, and gouache on paper, made by Kate Sandstrom in San Francisco.
